The Miramichi Rock ‘n Run offers 3 events:
-Half Marathon Run
Timing and Start/Finish Line
All events start at the intersection of Pleasant St and Henry St, between City Hall and Ed’s Subs near the Newcastle Town Square and begin at 8:00am sharp. All events finish in the Newcastle Town Square as well.
From the start line, participants will go up Pleasant St to Hennessy St, turn left towards the Paul Hayes Memorial Building by the Water Treatment Plant and then onto the Miramichi Bridge and continue with the normal route whether you are doing the 5K, 10K or the ½ Marathon.
We will have lots of volunteers on the course!
Race Kit Pick-Up & Expo
Race Kit Pick-up & Runners Expo will take place on Saturday, June 22nd from 1:00 to 5:00pm at the Miramichi Kin Center, 100 Newcastle Blvd, Miramichi, NB. You can also pick up your kit on race morning from 6:30AM to 7:30AM at this same location. We strongly encourage participants to come Saturday!

Participants will also receive a performance tshirt (if registered by May 31st), be eligible for lots of draw prizes, get an a finishers medal and enjoy refreshments by Pita Pit and Sobey’s at the finish line.
Our amazing volunteers will help to keep you motivated throughout the race! Entertainment has been arranged to get you rockin’ & runnin’ to a personal best!
After the Race
The finish line will be around the square, near the Kin Center at 100 Newcastle Blvd (where Race Kit Pick Up is). Pita Pit and Sobeys are supplying finish line food.
Walkers are welcome for the 5k and 10k race only. There is a maximum 3 hour time limit for support on the course, therefore no walkers on the 1/2 marathon. Thank you!
